MARKETING

In the year 1994 NUPAL has incorporated another company – NUPAL REMEDIES PVT. LTD [NRPL], to deal exclusively in its patent medicines with an aim to reach the benefits of the life saving Ayurvedic Medicines World wide. Mr.Krishnakumar.P , the eldest son of Sri.N.K. Padmanabhan Vaidyar, an M.B.A in Marketing is the Managing Director he is ably supported by his brothers, Dr. T.P. Sachith Roy, B.A.M.S. [Director] & Mr. Udayakumar.P, B’ Pharm. [Director].

In pursuance of the company’s objectives of a customer-oriented market development programme, NRPL is striving hard to understand and fulfill the requirements of doctors and patients through a dedicated, professional marketing team. NRPL has a well-organized marketing network in the State of Kerala, which includes a professional field force and a network of stockist to cater to the needs of humanity in every nook and corner of the operational territory. To cater to the needs of the demand from the national ethical market for peerless formulations, NRPL has a collaboration with a well established pharmaceutical company M/s. Bal Pharma Limited, Bangalore for marketing and sales. M/s.Bal Pharma covers more than 70% of the national market.

NRPL has a Liver Speciality Ayurveda Pharmacy at Kadavanthra Junction, Cochin-682 020. This clinic is one the few places in the world, where specialized treatment for all liver ailments is available. Patients are being treated from all over the world as outdoor patients and through mail order.

FUTURE PLANS

'NUPAL' has plans to utilise its installed capacity of production for the betterment of the suffering humanity. The company is also planning to introduce certain state-of-the-art formulations, which have been researched by Dr. T.P Sachith Roy, Dr. Ambika Roy & Dr. Udayakumar. P, under the guidance of Sri. Vaidya Vachaspathi N.K. Padmanabhan Vaidyar and are due for official reports. In the near future, 'NUPAL' is commissioning a very sophisticated unit strictly under G. M. P standards. The land has already been acquired. The location is 15 km away from the present plant and the area is around 25 acres of land with a project of unique herbal plantations and all other modern facilities.

NUPAL has set the ball rolling on a project of a series of treatment oriented health resorts comprising of Cleansing therapies - Panchakarma, rejuvenative therapies, stress management and relaxation therapies. The first of the series is being launched at Cochin shortly. To give the benefit of personalized service to people across the planet Nupal has decided to establish Ayurvedic treatment centres in various countries. Presently Nupal is in the process of starting an Ayurvedic treatment centre in Sri Lanka. Over the years Nupal has seen that a major part of the patients that are referred to our Ayurvedic treatment centre in Cochin are suffering from liver diseases. One of our shortcomings has been the lack of facility to treat indoor patients. Nupal is on the lookout for an appropriate party to collaborate with and set up a liver speciality hospital.
